Steam Clam(スチームクラム, Suchīmukuramu) Is a Mollusk Beast that often lives in the more deeper parts of the ocean, only coming out to the surface when it is time to release their pent-up steam inside of their bodies, creating what is known as the Mirage Ocean, where they are said to reside. The capture level for the Steam Clam is said to be at 82 due to how deep the clams are inside the ocean and the difficulty of finding the part of the ocean due to the constant mirage field the clams produce.

Most Steam clams seem to show signs of solidarity at times, often never interacting with anyone or anything, even their own species as they often only ever show interaction when it is time for them to mate. It's been seen that most Steam Clams are considered cowardly, often using the steam that they contain inside of them to counter the cold air of the ocean, creating a mirage in an attempt to keep themselves from being attacked.
